Fifteen participants underwent EEG recordings while receiving vibrotactile stimuli on the finger, hand, cheek, and foot. Two stimulation protocols were compared: a traditional ‘slow’ protocol with inter-stimulus intervals (ISIs) of 800–1200 ms and a ‘fast’ protocol with ISIs of 300–500 ms.
