Boundaries of Cordelia Fire Protection District created to support the allocation of resources for fire protection from the City of Fairfield Fire Department. Agreement Between Cordelia Fire Protection District and City of Fairfield Approved by LAFCO Following a unanimous decision by Solano Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), the City of Fairfield's application to extend its full range of services to the Cordelia Fire Protection District (CFPD) was approved this morning. Nearly two years in the making, the now valid cooperative agreement between the City of Fairfield and CFPD spans eight years with an option to extend for an additional eight-year period.
