Adversarial NLI (ANLI) is a large-scale natural language understanding dataset developed by Facebook AI Research, containing 162,865 instances. It is collected through an iterative human-machine interaction process, with the core objective of advancing model performance on natural language inference (NLI) tasks. The dataset is gathered by having non-expert annotators create examples that can deceive current state-of-the-art models, and these examples are then employed to train more robust models. The ANLI dataset is not only more challenging than existing benchmarks but also offers a dynamic target instead of a static benchmark, thereby continuously promoting the progress of NLI systems. This dataset is ideal for studying model performance in complex language reasoning scenarios, as well as methods to enhance model robustness via adversarial training.
