资源简介:
It is well known that the composition of the microbiota, colonizing the human skin, can be drastically altered in patients suffering from Atopic Dermatitis (AD) in the skin of the atopic lesions. A better understanding of the changes from healthy to atopic skin can help develop new targets for better treatments for AD patients and identify specific microbial or molecular biomarkers. This study describes an investigation of the microbiome and metabolomics profiling of the skin of healthy subjects and the skin of lesion and non-lesion from atopic dermatitis patients. The skin microbiome was analyzed by 16S rRNA sequencing. The molecular profile was analyzed by high-resolution mass spectrometry. The correlation of microbiome and metabolomics profiles was performed to explore the relationship between bacteria and metabolites.
