Erythroid genes having enhancers in a short distance appear to be transcriptionally activated by histone H3K27ac extension and intergenic transcription that are independent from TAL1. Overall design: GATA1, TAL1 and H3K27ac ChIP-seq was performed in control, GATA1 and TAL1 knockdown K562 cells.
