Dataset for "Properties of Carbon-rich AGB Stars in the LMC and the Milky Way"

We have updated the catalog of Galactic CAGB stars from (Suh, K.-W. 2024, ApJS, 272, 16) by including three independent distance estimates for each object, derived in this work from Gaia DR3 parallaxes, CAGB model SED fitting, and the PMR for LMC Miras. The catalog consists of two files: [d8-cic2024.csv] CAGB_IC objects (4909 rows and 6 columns); [d8-cni2024.csv] CAGB_NI objects (2254 rows and 5 columns). Column descriptions: [cic2024 or cni2024] object number; [IRAS] IRAS PSC or FSC identifier (only for CAGB_IC objects); [main_id] main identifier from SIMBAD; [dist_gaiadr3] distance from Gaia DR3 (Bailer-Jones et al. 2021); [dist_sed] distance derived from CAGB model SEDs; [dist_pmr] distance derived from the PMR for LMC Miras. All distances are given in parsecs (pc).
