E. coli Tracking (ECT) Dataset: Time-lapse Microscopy and Segmentation Analysis

Dataset supporting segmentation and tracking of dense E. coli microcolonies in LB and M9 media. Includes:• Mixed LB/M9 training set (576 frames) and blind test subset (118 frames)• Independent elongated-morphology LB timelapse (180 annotated frames)• Time-lapse stacks for lineage analysis (LB: 361 frames; M9: 601 frames)• Precomputed masks and metrics used in the thesis figures Format: TIFF stacks (images/masks), CSV/Parquet tracks, and README with directory map. Use case: benchmarking Omnipose, Cellpose, DeLTA2, RF-Watershed; reproducing figures and tables in the thesis. Pixel size: 0.065 µm; frame interval: 0.5 min.
