This study integrated multi-platform remote sensing data from satellites and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to reveal the effects of conservation tillage on maize growth dynamics in the black soil region of Northeast China. Sentinel-1 C-band SAR and Landsat-8 optical imagery were acquired and preprocessed using customized Google Earth Engine (GEE) scripts, which performed radiometric calibration, cloud and noise masking, and image export. Meanwhile, multi-temporal multispectral UAV campaigns were conducted throughout the entire maize growth period to obtain high-resolution imagery for validation and supplementary analysis across spatial scales. The integration of these multi-source remote sensing datasets established a comprehensive spatiotemporal monitoring framework, providing a solid data foundation for the quantitative analysis and mechanistic understanding of maize growth dynamics.
