Data for doctoral project "The Space of Love"
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the research data, code, trained models, and figures supporting Davide Pafumi’s doctoral dissertation, The Space of Love: Modelling Discourse in Later Middle English Literature (University of Lethbridge, 2026). The study models the discourse of love across a final corpus of 121 later Middle English literary texts. It combines corpus construction and bibliographic provenance, AI-assisted etymological normalisation, fastText subword word embeddings, UMAP visualisation, E5-Mistral document embeddings, concept-vector similarity, and principal component analysis. The deposit includes: corpus metadata, bibliographic provenance, and source notes; the textual data used in the analyses, including etymologically normalised versions; normalisation and quality-control materials; the fastText training data, trained model, parameters, nearest-neighbour results, and figures used in the word-level analysis; E5-Mistral document embeddings and their filename index; the final datasets used for the Lewisian four-category analysis and the revised three-register model of love discourse; the files underlying Figures 5–8 of the dissertation. The final document-level analysis contains 155 text filess. The deposit is intended to support the verification, reproduction, and extension of the dissertation’s computational analyses. File-level descriptions, methodological details, dependencies, provenance information, and rights statements are provided in the accompanying documentation.
