Whole-genome sequence dataset of skin S. epidermidis strains isolated from 32 patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) and 32 normal control (NC) are provided. The skin microbiome of metagenomic dataset are sampled from 46 AD patients and 54 NC. All skin swabs are sampled from the lesional and non-lesional skin of AD and the same site of NC.
