Coffea canephora, known as robusta coffee, provides approximately 30% coffee bean for the worldwide coffee market. Follow the previously research (Privat, et al. 2008; Simkin, et al. 2006), fruit of Coffea canephora at different stages of development, SG (small green fruit), LG (large green fruit), Y (yellow fruit), and R (red fruit) were harvested from coffee trees cultivated in the open field of Germplasm Repository of Coffee (Coffea spp.), RuiLi City, Ministry of Agriculture (RuiLi, Yunnan, China) and sent to carry out RNA sequencing.
