Updated abundance and mortality and serious injury (M&SI) information is required for the Hawaii pelagic stock of false killer whales to support management actions under the Take Reduction Plan. Due to the urgent nature of the management requirements, this report provides an overview of the available abundance and M&SI information for this stock, information generally provided within the annual stock assessment report.
