Gene expression profiling upon treatment with NTX-301

A novel hypomethylating agent NTX-301 is a promising therapeutic agent for AML patients. To examine its mechanisms of action, we produced gene expression data upon treatment with NTX-301 or decitabine (DAC) in AML cell lines. Overall design: HL-60 and MOLM-13 leukimia cells were cultured using the RPMI1640 medium. Cells were plated on 6-well plates at the day before drug treatment, and DMSO, NTX-301, and DAC were treated during 48h. After extracting Total RNA and assessing RNA purity and integrity, sequencing library was created using TruSeq Stranded Total RNA LT Sample Prep Kit (Gold) and were applied to the Illumina RNA-seq platform according to the manufacturer's protocol.
