Distinct microglia subsets are associated with a-synucleinopathy in multiple system atrophy

We developed a novel mice model of multiple system atrophy (MSA)-cerebellar type (MSA-C) by over-expression of human mutant a-synuclein (a-syn) in oligodendrocyte using Tet-off system. We identified distinct microglial subpopulations in a novel MSA-C model mice. Overall design: mRNA profiles of CD11b-positive microglia from the brains of Tg mice before MSA-C onset, Tg mice after MSA-C onset, and Tg mice treated with BLZ945.
