Risk factors for progression from biochemical leak to grade B pancreatic fistula early after pancreatic surgery

Retrospective analysis was performed on 60 patients of biochemical leakage after pancreaticoduodenectomy from February 2015 to November 2019 at the Second Hospital of Yibin City. The patients with biochemical leak were divided into POPF progression and non-POPF progression groups. Data on perioperative parameters including age, sex, body mass index (BMI), laboratory findings, CT value of the pancreatic body, main pancreatic duct (MPD) diameter, operation time, intraoperative blood loss and complications, were collected for all pancreaticoduodenectomies.
