In this study, Chromochloris zofingiensis was used as a material to investigate the effect of exogenous salicylic acid on the growth and fatty acid and astaxanthin accumulation of Chromochloris zofingiensis under heterotrophic culture conditions, and the mechanism by which salicylic acid affects the fatty acid and astaxanthin accumulation of Chromochloris zofingiensis was discussed, which can provide a reference to improve the fatty acid and astaxanthin content of microalgae and reduce the cost of large-scale cultivation.
