Effect of NSC-124854 on TMZ-mediated cell growth inhibition of MMR-proficient and MMR-deficient colon cancer cell lines in culture.

Cells were treated with different concentrations of NSC-124854 either alone or in combination with TMZ for 48 h. The cell growth inhibition was determined by the clonogenic assay. The IC50 of NSC-124854 for HCT-116, HCT-116-APC(KD) and HCT-116+ch3 is 210 ± 12.0, 251.7±3.3 and 391.4±68.5, respectively. The IC50 of NSC-124854 in Caco-2, HT29, SW480, LoVo and RKO was not determinable up to 250 µM of NSC-124854 concentration used in these experiments.
