Metagenome sequencing of freshwater lake sediment communities from Lake Baikal, Russia as a part of the NeLLi project - A Quest to Find New Lineages of Life
Here we study the vertical variation in the structure of bacterial and archaeal communities in sediments of Lake Paajarvi. Microbial communities were studied by NGS (Illumina MiSeq) of 16S rRNA genes.
