Cupriavidus metallidurans Genome sequencing and assembly. Cupriavidus metallidurans

C. metallidurans isolates are increasingly being recovered from medically-relevant sources such as from patients with cystic fibrosis (11) and from human cerebrospinal fluid. Recently, a first case of invasive infection by C. metallidurans was reported. The genome of this isolate, designated H1130, was sequenced for comparative analyses and for exploring the adaptation and pathogenic potential of such bacteria.
