资源简介:
This project consists of two phases of experimental research. The first phase of involved investigating the effects of detailing anchor bolt connections for steel column baseplates with well-defined stretch length as a method to provide ductility at such locations. To this end, an innovative connection design for large-diameter replaceable anchors is tested to expand on prior research. The second phase involved studying the efficacy of post-installed adhesive anchors, incorporating various stretch lengths, evaluated under monotonic and quasi-static cyclic tensile loading to assess their tensile capacity and displacement capacity in retrofit scenarios. Although fully-bonded adhesive anchors are well understood and incorporated into US design standards, partially-bonded anchors—designed to reduce tensile stresses near concrete surfaces—offer potential benefits, particularly in mitigating brittle concrete failure.
