Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor originating in the ovaries, and ranks among the most fatal cancers of the female reproductive system. The methylation analysis workflow primarily identifies and quantifies genome-wide alterations in methylation sites, which typically occur on cytosine (C) residues, particularly within CpG dinucleotides. This workflow encompasses quality control (QC), adapter trimming, alignment to a reference genome, screening of differentially methylated regions (DMRs), and their corresponding functional annotation. The alignment step employs two commonly used tools: Bismark and BSMAP. Additionally, this dataset supports integrated joint analysis combining transcriptomic data, as well as visualization of the analysis results.
