Establishment of oral microbiome in very low birth weight infants during the first weeks of life and the impact of oral diet implementation

This work evaluated the microbiome colonization of oral cavity of very low birth weight preterm newborns in the first month of life in a NICU. Those data also were analyzed pre and post oral diet implementation. The characterization of microbiome was based on V3 and V4 regions of 16SrRNA gene.
