Domestic energy constraints and climate policy support in 38 African countries: Replication data and code

This repository contains the replication materials accompanying the manuscript Domestic energy constraints and climate policy support in 38 African countries. The study examines the relationship between household energy constraints and support for climate policy across 38 African countries, using Afrobarometer survey data. The replication package includes analytical datasets, variable documentation, data-processing and estimation scripts, numerical results, robustness analyses, figures, and Excel workbooks. English- and French-language documentation is provided to facilitate verification and reproducibility. The materials are organized to support the reconstruction of the analytical samples, the estimation of the reported models, and the examination of the principal results and sensitivity analyses. Data source: Afrobarometer. Reproducibility: Instructions, software dependencies, and file-integrity information are included in the replication archive. Data rights: Reuse and redistribution of the original Afrobarometer data remain subject to the applicable terms established by the data provider.
