Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Money Hill, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, October 2024

This collection consists of GIS, geophysics and site record data from an archaeological magnetometry survey by MOLA Northampton. Work occurred across c42 hectares of land to the north-east of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire in October 2024.The survey identified ditches of possible archaeological origin, some of which may form part of an enclosure or field system. Extensive evidence for medieval to early post-medieval ridge and furrow was also detected. Evidence of green waste manuring was detected in the largest field, where almost all evidence of archaeological features is obscured. An area of made ground, two field boundaries and several modern utilities were among the other features detected.
