Opportunity Zones CA

Opportunity Zones are defined as &quot;census tracts that are defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as “economically-distressed community where new investments, under certain conditions, may be eligible for preferential tax treatment. They were added to the tax code by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on December 22, 2017&quot; (<a href='https://opzones.ca.gov/faqs/' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'>CA Opportunity Zones</a>). <div><br /></div><div>Areas highlighted on the map represent census tracts that were designated as Qualified Opportunity Zones.
