Serological test results for influenza A virus in dog and cat sera in Poland

The dataset comprises serological data on the presence of antibodies against influenza A virus in dogs and cats in Poland. The data were obtained from serum samples analyzed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and hemagglutination inhibition (HI) assays. Only ELISA-positive samples were subjected to HI testing for confirmation and identification of virus subtypes.The dataset is provided in structured tabular formats (e.g., CSV and/or XLSX files). Each record corresponds to a single serum sample and includes a unique sample identifier. The variables included in the dataset encompass, where available: animal species (canine or feline), localisation of sample collection , and results of serological testing.ELISA results are reported as positive[1] or negative [0]. HI assay results are expressed as antibody titers, presented as the highest serum dilution showing inhibition of hemagglutination.The data are organized in a tabular structure, with rows representing individual samples and columns corresponding to variables and test results. Missing data are indicated using standardized notation (e.g., “N/A”). The dataset files are accompanied by clear column headers to facilitate interpretation and reuse.
