CGWB RTI Geophysical and Stratigraphic Dataset for Haryana-Punjab (2025-26)

Groundwater data compiled from RTI responses under the Right to Information Act 2005 (India). Application CGWBD/R/E/26/00088/1 filed 09/03/2026; First Appeal CGWBD/A/E/26/00021 filed 30/03/2026; PIO: Rishi Raj, Scientist-B & CPIO, CGWB North Western Region, Chandigarh. Dataset contains vertical electrical sounding (VES) resistivity data (523 points, 9 districts), borehole lithological logs (38 boreholes), discharge test data (129 boreholes), water level time series (19,027 records, 2000–2024), and water quality data (EC, fluoride). Coverage: Haryana and Punjab states. Data compiled and cleaned by depositor. Original government data remains property of CGWB, Government of India.
