Microbiome composition in the gut microbiota of male Wistar rats fed sorghum flour. Raw sequence reads

This is an experimental study with the objective of investigating the role of sorghum flour associated or not with a high fat diet on the gut microbiota of male Wistar rats. Despite the the effect of sorghum in the health, it is not understood the effects of the combination of the resistant starch and tannins of the sorghum flour on gut microbiome of rats. This study can help to identify new strategies to improve the gut health based on the sorghum consumption.
