Canadian Gallup Poll, March 1982, #459_2

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political issues. The questions ask opinions about political leaders such as who were the best and worst Prime Ministers; as well as other political issues within the country. There are also questions on other topics of interest and importance such as censorship of movies, the use of alcohol and the chances of an atomic war. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: who the Best Canadian Prime Minister is; the chances of an atomic war; the chances of becoming unemployed; the chances of getting a new job if fired; favouring government censorship of movies; interest level in soccer; minimum amount of income a family needs; naming Canadian Prime Ministers; the successfulness of family life today, compared to the past; using alcoholic beverages; working full-time; the world's greatest problems; and who the worst Canadian Prime Minister was. Basic demographic variables are also included.
