This repository contains datasets from a cross-sectional study conducted in Geneva, Switzerland, investigating beliefs about low back pain among medical students and practicing physicians.

The study used the Back Pain Attitudes Questionnaire (Back-PAQ) to assess attitudes and beliefs. The repository includes two datasets corresponding to the two populations: medical students (years 1 to 6) and hospital-based primary care physicians.

Each dataset contains anonymized responses, including demographic variables (age, sex, year of study or professional status). Higher scores indicate stronger biomedical beliefs about low back pain.

All data were collected via an anonymous online questionnaire. A detailed description of all variables and scoring methods is provided in the accompanying data dictionary. Additional documentation is available in the README file.
