Local field potentials and single unit activity during psychedelic treatment in awake rats (v1)

We have performed large-scale multi-structure recordings in freely behaving rats treated with 5-HT2AR psychedelics (LSD, DOI), NMDAR psychedelics (ketamine, PCP) or amphetamine. Local field potential (LFP) and single unit data was recorded from 9 rats with chronically implanted microwire electrodes in a total of 50 anatomical locations. The electrode positions were verified with CT in 5 of the animals. The dataset includes 18 LSD, 9 DOI, 27 ketamine, 7 PCP and 10 amphetamine recording sessions. In each recording session, a baseline of at least 30 minutes was recorded before drug injection. The electrophysiology data consists of raw LFP timeseries and spike-sorted unit activity (spike times) from 354 units. The data is split into a 30 minutes long baseline period and a 30 minutes long drug period (starting 30 minutes after drug injection).
