Sitatunga is a spiral-horned antelope endemic to wetlands in sub-Saharan Africa. To date, there are no published scientific estimates of sitatunga density. We used camera trap data of sitatunga sightings from 2015-2018 to estimate density using a novel method called time in front of the camera (TIFC) developed by the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute.
