In this study, we investigated whether collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) produced gut microbiota abnormalities and whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) from Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients led to the gut microbiota changes in mice. We also tested depression-like behavior in mice and analyzed the relationship between behavioral tests and gut microbiota.
