A double drainage solution is investigated by employing a clayey levee on top of a peat layer. The objectives of this experiment 11H are evaluating the efficiency of the pre-consolidation technique of the peat at 1 g (in order to avoid bearing capacity failures in flight), observing the consolidation curve of the peat with increasing g levels to extrapolate for the 9m radius experiment, and investigating the model response to different shaking levels. Model was spun to 50g and let consolidate before applying a ground motion series. Five waves were applied in this order: sine sweep, sine wave, Northridge, San Fernando and Chile.
