The Comprehensive Model of Perfectionistic Behaviour (CMPB) will be used to examine associations between various measures of perfectionism (i.e., trait perfectionism, perfectionistic self-presentation, perfectionism cognitions), orthorexia, and self-compassion. We will expand on previous research by investigating the CMPB, disordered eating, and self-compassion in a sport and exercise context. To date, no studies have examined the above noted relationships, inclusive of disordered eating behaviours in the sport domain. Therefore, the present study will provide a first cross-sectional test of the relationships between perfectionism conceptualisations, orthorexia, and self-compassion in sport and exercise. notReviewed other
