资源简介:
The overall purpose of this study was to explore Chinese women’s national team soccer players’ experiences of life skills development and life skills learning contexts. More specifically, our objectives were to examine (a) what life skills the players had developed, and (b) how these soccer players develop life skills through their experiences across multiple life skills learning contexts. Semistructured interviews were conducted with 14 Chinese women’s national soccer team members. Data were subjected to inductive and deductive analytic procedures. Data pertaining to the first objective were initially inductively analysed and then, to ensure cultural sensitivity, deductively matched with the Chinese adaptation of “4Cs” of character, competence, confidence, and connection (Lin et al., 2017).
