PLUS.WP1 Platform historical framework

The set furnishes a literature review on the genealogy of platform economy with secondary data. The literature sources can be found in public libraries and public archives, and in archives of municipal transportation companies. Together with main publications we considered maps and photographs. We worked on about 200 books and articles, and we selected 32 pictures. The pictures have been consulted from: Wikipedia Commons; Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa; London Metropolitan Archives; Opensource Online Archive of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France; LandsArchive Berlin; Opensource online archive of the Municipality of Bologna; Opensource online archives of the Museu de Historia de la Ciutat de Barcelona; The Servei de Arquelogia de Barcelona; Internet History Sourcebook Project (IHSP). All these data therefore already exist, but they have been assembled, analysed and interpreted in an original way.
