Census of Population and Housing, 1980: 1970-Pre 1980 Tract Relationships

<p>This data collection presents information on the general comparability between the Census tracts in 1970 and the pre-1980 Census tracts, which were identified in late 1978 and used in enumerating the 1980 Census. The file provides state, county, and tract codes for 1970 and pre-1980. In addition, it has the number of pre-1980 Census tracts with territory in common with the 1970 tracts, and the number of 1970 tracts with territory in common with the pre-1980 tracts.
