Description
This dataset contains the raw data supporting the manuscript on "Interplay between plasma luminescence and hydrodynamic effects in laser-induced cavitation at 0.1 – 50 MPa ambient pressure".
The data are structured according to the sequence of figures and subfigures in the manuscript.
Data content
Curve data (Excel format, .xlsx)Raw data corresponding to plotted curves in the manuscript figures
Image data (PowerPoint format, .pptx)Experimental stroboscopic bubble images and ICCD images of plasmas.
Statistical Treatment and Data Processing
All time-resolved measurements were performed with 20 experiments at each delay time.
Image presentation (Fig. 3)
For clarity of visualization, Fig. 3 (Stroboscopic cavitation images and ICCD plasma images) shows only representative images at each delay time. Data of all 20 images per step can be obtained from the authors upon request.
Bubble radius R(t) — Fig. A1
At each delay time, bubble radii were extracted from 20 repeated experiments.
A MATLAB-based contour-identification algorithm was applied to determine the bubble boundary.
The average bubble radius at each time point was calculated from these 20 measurements.
The procedure is illustrated in:Fig. A1 – Illustration of Identifying the Avg. Bubble Radius among Multi-Shots.
The experimental data points R(t) in Fig. A1 represent the mean values across 20 shots per delay.
Shock wave radius — Fig. S2
Shock wave radii are the average value over the 20 measurements performed at each delay time.
