To test the utility of software QAP for viral community sequencing data analysis, high-throughput sequencing of two strains of influenza virus H7N9 was carried out. Each strain was stimulated with different concentration of NA inhibitor Oseltamivir before viral RNA extraction and sequencing. Drug-resistance mutations were detected by QAP to evaluate the performance of this software in mutation calling.
