GloLake: Global historical and near real-time lake storage dynamics from 1984-present

The GloLake dataset provides historical and near real-time time series of relative (i.e., storage change) and absolute (i.e., total stored volume) storage for more than 25,000 lakes worldwide using multiple sources of satellite data, including laser and radar altimetry and optical remote sensing. This data can help us understand the influence of climate variability and anthropogenic activities on water availability and system ecology over the last four decades. The GloLake dataset will be updated regularly when new remote sensing data is available.GloLake数据集（GloLake Dataset）整合激光测高（laser altimetry）、雷达测高（radar altimetry）与光学遥感（optical remote sensing）等多源卫星数据，为全球逾25000个湖泊提供涵盖相对储水量变化（即储水量变动量）与绝对储水量（即总储水量）两类指标的历史及近实时时间序列数据。该数据集可助力我们明晰近四十年来气候变率与人类活动对水资源可用性及湖泊生态系统的影响。GloLake数据集将在获取新的遥感数据时定期更新。
