Legend: S* is the THz emission normalised by THz outcoupling (microVolts). Msat is the saturation magnetisation (emu/cm^3), measured by SQUID, T is temperature (Kelvin), S*_y is the component of S* polarised in the plane of the FeRh film, perpendicular to the applied field, S*_x is the component of S* polarised in the plane of the FeRh film, parallel to the applied field, B_c (Tesla) is the coercive field, B_ex (Tesla) is the exchange field. 1(b) – contains the data of the temperature dependence of S* and Msat. Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)=S*, Col(C)=temperature (K), Col(d)=Msat. 1(c) – contains the temperature dependence of S* for two pumping geometries in the FeRh-Pt sample. Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)=S*_y when the sample is pumped from the Pt layer side, Col(c)=temperature, Col(d)=S*_y when the sample is pumped from the MgO substrate side, Col(e)=temperature, Col(f)=S*_x when the sample is pumped from the Pt layer side. 1(d) - contains the temperature dependence of S* for two pumping geometries in the FeRh single layer. Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)=S*_y when the sample is pumped from the top surface side, Col(c)=temperature, Col(d)=S*_y when the sample is pumped from the MgO substrate side. 2(a) – contains the magnetic field dependence of S*_y in the FeRh-Pt sample for different temperatures. Col(A)= temperature, Col(B)=linear-in-field component, Col(C)= saturating component, Col(D)= sum of the two components. 2(c) – contains the temperature dependence of S*_y in FeRh-Pt measured for different applied fields. Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)=2.2 mT, Col(C)=temperature, Col(D)=46 mT, Col(E)=temperature, Col(F)=245 mT, Col(G)=temperature, Col(H)=860 mT, Col(I)=temperature, Col(J)=22 mT, Col(K)=temperature, Col(L)=0 mT. 2(d)- contains data extracted from the SQUID measurements on the FeRh-Pt sample. Col(A)=temperature, col(B)=B_c (mT), Col(C)=temperature, col(D)=B_ex (mT), Col(E)=temperature, col(F)=M_sat (emu/cm^3). 3(a) – contains the temperature dependence of S*_y measured in FeRh-Pt as a function of FeRh conductivity. Main: Col(A)=conductivity of FeRh (S/m x106), col(B):S*_y. Insert: Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)= conductivity of FeRh (S/m x106). 3(b) – Col(A)=temperature, Col(B)=M_sat, col(C)=temperature, Col(D)=S*_y divided by FeRh conductivity for FeRh-Pt sample The folder “correction function” contains the correction function used to calculate S* from the amplitude of the emitted THz (S) for the uncapped FeRh sample and FeRh-Pt.
