Neighborhood Labels

This dataset was created by the DC Office of Planning and provides a simplified representation of the neighborhoods of the District of Columbia. These boundaries are used by the Office of Planning to determine appropriate locations for placement of neighborhood names on maps. They do not reflect detailed boundary information, do not necessarily include all commonly-used neighborhood designations, do not match planimetric centerlines, and do not necessarily match Neighborhood Cluster boundaries.本数据集由哥伦比亚特区（District of Columbia）规划办公室（DC Office of Planning）编制，旨在以简化形式呈现哥伦比亚特区的社区边界。该办公室使用此类边界来确定地图上社区名称的适宜标注位置。但此类边界未反映详尽的边界细节信息，未必囊括所有通用的社区称谓，无法与平面测量中心线（planimetric centerlines）相匹配，且未必与社区集群（Neighborhood Cluster）边界相符。
