This dataset dynamically analyzes Global Forecast System (GFS) forecasts to generate forecasted rainfall volumes for different time periods in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, providing support for flood prevention work by government departments and travel arrangements for the general public. In scenarios such as typhoons and heavy rainstorms, it can assist managers in analysis, judgment and decision-making, timely release and implementation of relevant measures to mitigate disaster losses. Taking the latest numerical forecast results of the Global Forecast System (GFS) as input data, it converts them into grid-based rainfall data via numerical interpretation, conducts topological analysis based on the administrative boundary vector layer of Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, dynamically extracts grid information within the administrative region, and finally generates hourly forecasted areal rainfall for various time slots within the next 72 hours.
