Perimeters of the departmental parks — Département du Loiret

The perimeters of the Loiret departmental parks, also known as Sensible Natural Spaces (ENS) **Collection context** In 1997, the Loiret Departmental Assembly decided to establish and use the Departmental Tax on Sensitive Natural Areas to promote the creation of sites open to the public free of charge. Within this framework, a layer of the perimeters of the departmental parks has been developed, bringing together open departmental parks (7) as well as park projects (3). An SNE includes land in general that has become public (by application of the right of pre-emption, through amicable negotiation). Please note: the potential Sensitive Natural Spaces (‘the Cercanceaux sandstones’ and ‘the Grand Rozeau and Near Blonds’) are not to be mapped under the theme “Departmental Parks”. They receive only TAENS grants from the Department. **Collection method** The data layer was created from the parcel layer of the cadastre digitised at 1/2000 and from the reference documents provided in paper format.
