This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing quarterly overseas customer data related to iridium ingot consumption, aiming to understand customers' purchasing power and consumption preferences for iridium ingots, evaluate the market popularity of this product, and formulate precise marketing and export strategies for all enterprises in the industry. For example, enterprises can communicate with high-tier customers 1 to 2 times per month, interact with mid-tier customers 1 to 2 times per quarter, and engage with low-tier customers 1 to 2 times every six months, thus developing more targeted marketing and export strategies.
1. Data Collection: Collect quarterly transaction-related data of overseas customers for iridium ingots.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis.
3. Algorithm Calculation: The demand index is calculated as (minimum single-order quantity / maximum single-order quantity + minimum single-order consumption amount / maximum single-order consumption amount) * k, where k is a coefficient that varies across different non-ferrous metal types. Based on empirical values, the k value for iridium ingots is set to 1.04.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into "high-tier", "mid-tier" and "low-tier" categories based on the calculated demand index level: customers with a score of 1.5 and above are marked as "high-tier customers", those with a score within the range of 1.2 to 1.5 as "mid-tier customers", and those with a score of 1.2 or below as "low-tier customers", to help enterprises better understand customer demands.
