We studied the collision results between ships and single-pile fan by numerical simulation of realistic single-pile fan, introduced a new negative stiffness structure to achieve the effect of collision avoidance, and finally verified the numerical simulation results by analytical simulation of nonlinear vibration. The data included the finite element results. We can get some information about the energy relationship, collision force, acceleration and grid, and verify the analyzed results by comparing the data. It is found that the comparison between numerical simulation and analytic analysis can well reflect the good collision avoidance effect.
