Data and analysis code for "The origin of strong alpha-element bimodalities in FIRE simulations of Milky Way-mass galaxies"

This deposit contains the Jupyter notebooks used to perform the analysis and generate each figure for the associated article. Each notebook corresponds to the figure or figures indicated by its filename, and saved notebook outputs are included. The notebooks analyze FIRE-2 cosmological zoom-in simulations; rerunning them requires access to the relevant FIRE-2 simulation data and adjustment of local data paths. The underlying simulation snapshots and intermediate analysis products are not included in this deposit.
