ddRADseq analyses to create new linkage maps for conifers, Chamaecyparis obtusa and Thujopsis dolabrata var. hondae (Cupressaceae)

To create new linkage maps for two Cupressaceae species, we performed the double digest RADseq (ddRADseq) on 153 full-sib individuals and parents of Chamaecyparis obtusa, and 199 full-sib individuals and parents of Thujopsis dolabrata var. hondae. The ddRADseq libraries were constructed using restriction enzymes (PstI and SphI), and the libraries were sequenced using HiSeq X with 2x151-bp paired-end reads by Macrogen Japan Corp.
