资源简介:
Mai Khanh says the name of the pot used to cook sticky rice, in Mnong language, “Kơl hôl piêng”. They are round pots with a wide opening and a hollow cylinder at the bottom. The bottom of the pots inside the cylinder is pierced with holes. It is used (and sold) as a set with another pot with an opening the size of the cylinder so that the two pots can fit together. Water is boiled in the lower pot and the rice is steamed on top. To cover the holes, so that the rice does not fall down into the water, they put a leaf or a vegetable sponge. A set of two pots and a cover was exchanged for 12kg (= 1 big basket) of unhusked rice.
